Sunday Streets - March 14, 2010 Featuring a series of car free Sundays featuring recreation and entertainment on normally busy thoroughfares, has proven to be so popular that it will now be a tradition in San Francisco. The 2010 Sunday Streets season will feature nine dates, longer hours (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and extend into new communities. The season opener for 2010 is March 14th and extends along the Embarcadero, starting at Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, south to China Basin.

San Francisco Ballet - Through May 9, 2010 The 77th repertory season of San Francisco Ballet, the oldest professional ballet company in America, includes three full-length ballets, the San Francisco Ballet premiere of Fokine's Petrouchka, as well as three world premieres by three unique and exciting choreographers. A number of audience favorites will return as well: Forsythe's modern in the middle, somewhat elevated, an all-Balanchine program and Jerome Robbins' comedic The Concert.

Birth of Impressionism from the Musée d'Orsay - Opens May 22 The de Young Museum a series of masterpieces from the Musée d'Orsay in Paris running thru September 6, 2010. Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs This important and popular exhibition returns to San Francisco 30 years after the original showing opened here. With more than 130 important objects, including many new and exciting elements not seen in previous versions of the exhibition and a new audio tour, and additional artifacts from Tutankhamun's tomb, this exhibition positions Tutankhamun in a larger context through an additional 80 objects from the tombs of his ancestors.

Walt Disney Family Museum Now Open Three historic buildings within the nearby Presidio house 10 galleries devoted to the inspiring story of Walt Disney, the creator of Mickey Mouse, Disneyland and the global company that bears his name.
