Sheraton Goes Green

When the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf Hotel was renovated, special attention was also made to green initiatives in our guest rooms. Below are just a few of the green iniatives currently in place in our guest rooms:

In-Room water saving shower heads and faucet aerators
Using environmentally sensitive Ecolab^TM laundry products
Use of compact fluorescent lighting, which consumes 75% less energy than conventional bulbs
Separate waste stream and recyclables implemented throughout the hotel, including guest rooms
Thermostat control system in guest rooms, regulates heating and cooling by sensor to ensure unoccupied rooms do not waste energy
Contribute to less waste by: offering reuse program of linens for extended stay guests, holding an environmental purchasing policy and using recycled products
