Sheraton Goes Green
 
When the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf Hotel was renovated, special attention was also made to green initiatives in our guest rooms. Below are just a few of the green iniatives currently in place in our guest rooms:
  • In-Room water saving shower heads and faucet aerators
  • Using environmentally sensitive EcolabTM laundry products
  • Use of compact fluorescent lighting, which consumes 75% less energy than conventional bulbs
  • Separate waste stream and recyclables implemented throughout the hotel, including guest rooms
  • Thermostat control system in guest rooms, regulates heating and cooling by sensor to ensure unoccupied rooms do not waste energy
  • Contribute to less waste by: offering reuse program of linens for extended stay guests, holding an environmental purchasing policy and using recycled products
